KELLY LE BROCK GIVES US A PEEK INTO HER LIFE NOW
KELLY LE BROCK INTERVIEW WITH GABRIELLE REILLY

The gorgeous Kelly Le Brock talks with us about her day to day life and what makes her feel alive… I bet you will be as shocked as I was if you remember her images from The Woman in Red and Weird Science!  Make sure you watch the trailer at the bottom of this page for her new movie "Hidden Affair."

Gabrielle Reilly:  So Maddie Wheat, her boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay with you at your ranch recently… thanks again.  I was impressed to discover what a fantastic cook you are!!!  You made us one of the best meals we've ever had, and so fresh.  I can’t wait to see your new show Kelly’s Kitchen coming up.  So, can you tell our readers a little about your ranch?

Kelly Le Brock:   Well, I live in the mountains in California. I have goats, chickens, pigs, dogs, horses and cats. The wildlife here is pretty extraordinary. We have mountain lions, you know cougars, big, big cougars, rattlesnakes, tarantulas, bears, fantastic country, it really is.

Gabrielle Reilly:  Yes, well the other thing that surprised me is what an amazing frontier woman you are.  I loved the bowl of rattles you had from the rattle snacks you shot yourself!

Kelly Le Brock:  Yes, in fact, I’m going to go to Yellowstone and camp out with the grizzlies in July. There’s a beautiful campground there right near the hot springs and I’ll go stay there for a week with my horse.

Gabrielle Reilly:  With your horse?

Kelly Le Brock:  Yes, ma’am. I’ll be riding. Riding, riding, riding.

Gabrielle Reilly:  So, what has instigated that, do you know people there or…

Kelly Le Brock:  I do, the guy that lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and he knows how much I love to ride fine country. I did that for about two weeks. I went up into the Continental Divide, up near Colorado, and saw one of the wild grizzlies and her cubs. It was very exciting and ever since then I’ve loved wild country and to see bears and especially grizzlies. It sort of makes me feel alive, like I’m doing something that people don’t usually do. It’s like living a hundred years ago. It’s extraordinary to camp out and make a campfire, cook your food on the campfire, sleep in the dark, hear the river running, hot water, there’s nothing like it. Living with your animals out on the plains, you tie one and you let one range. There’s nothing like it, that’s my spa.

Gabrielle Reilly:  Yes, that’s my idea of a spa too. Coming from the outback Australia, we spent Friday nights camping and looking at the stars, sitting with friends, cooking a meal around the campfire.  There’s nothing like it in the world.

Kelly Le Brock:  It’s gorgeous.

Gabrielle Reilly:  Oh, it’s so beautiful. In fact, when I built my European patio I had to have a campfire built in and we spend a lot of time around it every week. We love to go out, light a fire and sit around, telling tall stories with the kids. It’s absolutely beautiful. I’m with you, there’s no drug like being in the wild or being in the outdoors.

Kelly Le Brock:  No, it’s what feeds me, it’s what calms me, and it’s what I need. I will hopefully continue to do it until my aging days are gone, yes.

Gabrielle Reilly:  I think a lot of women would be much happier if they learned to do that rather than go to the shopping mall.

Kelly Le Brock:  Or go to the surgeon.

Gabrielle Reilly:  Yes…  So you went to Vienna Austria earlier in the year, how was that?

Kelly Le Brock:  Vienna was extraordinary, I felt like Cinderella with three feet.

Gabrielle Reilly:  Was it work or…

Kelly Le Brock:  I went for a charity benefit. They took me over there and I talked about cancer and what I believe cancer should be treated with and they gave me a nice award and it was very lovely. I felt like the belle of the ball; I did the opening dance of the Viennese waltz which was really cool because I have three left feet.

Gabrielle Reilly:  Did you train for that, or…

Kelly Le Brock:  Yeah, about three minutes.

Gabrielle Reilly:  [laugh] Yeah, the Viennese waltz is actually a pretty hard dance.

Kelly Le Brock:  No, no, no, it’s really easy! It’s one two three, one two three, but I turned it into one nine six twelve three four five nine six twelve five four three two.

Gabrielle Reilly:  [laugh] I’m with you there. It’s hard for me.

Kelly Le Brock:  But, oh, I had a lovely time!

Gabrielle Reilly:  Well, I’m glad you’re such an advocate for preventative medicine.  I know you have been doing a tremendous job supporting “FoodTweeks” that both encourages healthy eating AND gives food to the needy.

I look forward to chatting sometime soon!  All my love.
