ERNEST BORGINE - LEGENDARY ACTOR
ERNEST BORGINE INTERVIEW WITH GABRIELLE REILLY

Ernest Borgnine, the Hollywood legendary actor known for Quinton McHale in McHale's Navy once won an Oscar off his competitor Frank Sinatra... and has received the honorary rank of Chief Petty Officer from the US Navy (he served six years in the Navy before getting into acting.)

After six decades in the movie industry and 90 plus something years of living, Ernie can cut to the chase on lessons to live by.  The Global Townhall is honored to have Ernie swing by with some quick tips on life.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What advice can you offer people on emotionally handling the word "no" and the rejections that the entertainment industry (and life) throws at everyone sometimes?

Ernie Borgnine:   I never heard the word "no."  Just keep pushing.

Gabrielle Reilly:  You must have endured hardships at times throughout you life like everybody does. How have you maintained your lively, joyful spirit throughout your life in spite of hardship?

Ernie Borgnine:  Overcome the hardship!!!

Gabrielle Reilly:  What advice would you give young people today on living a successful life?

Ernie Borgnine:  Work hard, study hard and choose your friends wisely.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What impact did your experience in the Navy have on your life?

Ernie Borgnine:  It made a man of me.

Gabrielle Reilly:  For all of the video bloggers out there now. what tip can you offer for being great in front of a camera?

Ernie Borgnine:  Forget you're a blogger and just be natural!

Gabrielle Reilly:  I loved watching you receive your Life Achievement Award on the 2011 SAG Awards.  Everyone couldn't help but notice how breathtaking your wife Tova was at the Awards.  Tell me about her beauty line and do you help her with it?

Ernie Borgnine:  Talk to her about it!!!  But yes I do get involved every now and again.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What does your diet look like throughout the year?

Ernie Borgnine:  Junky!
