JENNIFER NICOLE LEE INTERVIEW WITH GABRIELLE REILLY  

Jennifer Nicole Lee was featured on Oprah with good reason, she has a great, unique workout plan... particularly for woman with young children/babies.  Spending time with your children working out and loosing the pounds is both motivating and setting a really good example for your children to live a healthy and fit lifestyle.  If you can't do it for yourself, then harness the power you have as a mother to do anything for your children, and be healthy for them.  It's critical.  I used the same method as Jennifer after two babies and got my trophy in a fitness contest cranking in at the best shape of my life at 34.  If we can, you can.

It's a pleasure to have Jennifer here today to talk some more about her fitness philosophies that apply to all woman.  Be sure to watch the video of her at the bottom with Oprah.

 

Gabrielle Reilly:  How do you fit your overall training/dieting into your lifestyle?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:
  I plan my workouts like important business meetings that I can't be late to! And I always eat like a "Super fitness model," like I have laid out in my second hard copy book "The Jennifer Nicole Lee Fitness Model Diet"

Gabrielle Reilly:  What are your favorite easy healthy snacks/meals?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:
  I've been nicknamed the Betty Crocker of protein shakes-and love to make them with fruits.



 

Gabrielle Reilly:  Do you use straight discipline to stick to your workout and diet or do you visualize what it is you want to look like/achieve to keep motivated?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:
  I use the power of my mind, body and spirit. When you start eating and living healthy, you feel amazing, and want to keep it up.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What do you do to keep consistently motivated?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:  My sons, husband, and my amazing fitness friends around the world!

Gabrielle Reilly:  Do you have days when the last thing you want to do is step foot in a gym?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:  No, not really. I honestly love to train, it's my therapy and it's always like putting deposits of energy into my body.

Gabrielle Reilly:  Do you have allocated binge days/meals?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:  No, I don't binge, but I do enjoy a cheat bite once in a while. I'm a "fun fit foodie!" I love to cook, and I always make my meals healthy, and I am a foodie! Smelly cheese, red wine, dark chocolate and all things gourmet.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What do you do when you feel like breaking your diet?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:  Never, I don't diet. I work off of a food plan, where I plan my food and meals in advance.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What changes do you think woman over 40 (who are not fitness competitors) need to make in their training and diet?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:  They must get more protein in their food plans.

 

Gabrielle Reilly:  What weight/cardio training do you do in a week?

Gabrielle Reilly:  There is a school of thought that suggests low impact cardio will target your body fat as opposed to high impact cardio that actually burns your muscle (which you want to increase your metabolism of course.)  What are your thoughts on this theory?  So, in your opinion, low or high impact exercise for fat loss?

Jennifer Nicole Lee:  Again, I created JNL FUSION, where you weave strength and cardio back to back, to get maximum results in minimum time.
