JACQUELINE MACINNES WOOD - THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL STAR
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood's Interview With Gabrielle Reilly

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who stars on The Bold and the Beautiful as Steffy Forrester, has a very bright future ahead of her.  This gorgeous, fun-loving Canadian actress shares some great tips on success, beauty, fitness and diet in our interview together.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What does your fitness routine look like to stay in such amazing shape?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  I prefer weight training with plenty of reps and I am crazy about dancing whether it's at home or out with friends.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What does your diet look like?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  Well I love all food!  I just make sure when eating that my carbs don't outweigh my protein intake on a daily basis and I never eat anything fattening 2 hours before I sleep.

Gabrielle Reilly:  When did you know you wanted to be an actress?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  At the age of 5, I just told my mother that I was going to be an actress and never deviated. I would drive her crazy with my impressions of TV characters.

Gabrielle Reilly:  How did you develop your skills?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  I was always involved in school plays and community theatre.  Later I took drama courses at Ryerson University and acting workshops in Toronto.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What do you consider to be your first break as an actress?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  A 13 week show called GamerGirlz shot in Toronto and I played Max.

Gabrielle Reilly:  How comfortable are you walking around on set in a swimsuit?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  Overall it's no big deal as everyone on B&B is pretty used to swim suit scenes and bedroom scenes.  However there are times when script calls for a swimsuit and I am like oh no not this week!

Gabrielle Reilly:  What are your favorite beauty tips?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  Since I am still at that age for skin outbreaks that can be exacerbated by stage makeup, I am a face mask queen. I use them once a week.  It's a great way to nourish and purify the skin.  I have even been know to talk on skype to my girlfriends with the video on while wearing one of my many masks.

Gabrielle Reilly:  Your hair is gorgeous; do you have any hair tips for us?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  The ends of longer hair are always a trouble spot and needs more conditioning.  I put my hair in a pony tail. Then I put hair conditioner in a plastic sandwich bag and put it over my pony tail, tying another elastic around it to hold it in place.  That way if I am having a home night or going to bed it is not messy or uncomfortable.  I even made a little velvet tie bag to go over it just in case someone comes to the door.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What is one of your favorite life philosophies that may inspire our readers?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  Let me dream my life but let me not dream my life away.

Gabrielle Reilly:  What are some of your favorite ways to spend your time?

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood:  I live in West Hollywood and I feel very comfortable just hanging out in my neighborhood. I like to sit at the cafe's and study my B&B scripts, since I am not the best of cooks and a big believer in letting the pros handle that. Also surfing is one of my pastimes.
