Islam And The Terrorist's Who Work Within The US.
Islam. To understand terrorists, and the policy we need to implement to address our Homeland Security issues, we must first evaluate "Islam" more closely. Muslim's are as diverse as Christians, from your non-practicing Catholic's to your crusading Mormon's. Although there are many various teachings of Islam it can be broadly divided into two larger categories of pan-Arabic or progressive countries that adapt to changing times such as Iraq, or fundamental Islam which strictly adheres to "not changing", but practicing beliefs of the medieval times such as Saudi Arabia. After evaluating some fundamental Islamic teachings we can then look at how terrorists are active within America still.
Islam can be broken up into more geopolitical regions for better understanding also. Asian Islam formed vastly differently to Middle Eastern and European Islam. Take for example Lombok in Indonesia where they practice what is called Wektu telu. Although they are Muslim their religion is blended with their ancestry of Hinduism and animism. Note this sect of Islam practices fiscal punishment for misdemeanors instead of removal of limbs. The separation of church and state give this region a renowned for its relaxed version of Islam although Indonesia is home to the world's largest Muslim population.
So although Islam evolved differently from region to region there are some fundamental values that they all share as Christians share fundamental teachings. "Jasūs" means "spy for evil purposes for non believers" in Arabic and punishment is decapitation. Potential decapitation is obviously one very frightening reason why Muslim' resist speaking out. Ever wonder why some Muslim's practice jihad and others do not? Only a portion of the Islamic community is obliged to dedicate them selves to jihad. In mainly fundamental Islam, jihad is not Fard (which means compulsory) to every single Muslim but is Fard Fifaa'ee where if a percentage of the people from the community practice jihad then sin is absolved from the community. If a portion of the community does not practice jihad then the entire community is sinful. Defending a Muslim also takes precedence over defending a non-believer (non-Muslim). The Muslim also has the right to lie to a non-believer in the name of Allah to assist with jihad. That is why you hear the Saudi's, among others, lie so convincingly, because they believe they are lying for the sake of Allah.
Accessing this information on Islamic teachings gives us just cause to re-evaluate our procedure with Muslims working in our classified military and intelligence areas, particularly in light of the recent espionage charges. New information has exposed the infiltration of Islamic extremists and their sympathizers within the US military.
"Consider Army Capt. Yousef Yee - not yet charged but being held on suspicion of committing espionage while ministering to his Taliban and Al Qaeda flocks at Gitmo. He was sponsored by a foundation subgroup whose co-founder, one Abdul Rahman al-Amoudi, was arrested yesterday in Washington. With $340,000 worth of Libyan cash in his possession.
And there's surely more to worry about than just the chaplains. Consider another Guantanamo man, the Air Force's Ahmad al-Halabi. He's a mere translator, not an imam. He's now officially charged on more than 30 espionage-related counts.
"If it's happening at Guantanamo," wonders Schumer, "what's happening at the other military bases?" Point well taken. Consider the angry American Muslim soldier who in March fragged his commanders in Kuwait.
And if the military has been infiltrated, what about local, state and federal law enforcement agencies? Wasn't there a Muslim FBI agent not so long ago who refused to investigate fellow Muslims? What about the airline industry? What about the power companies? Of course, we're not talking about all Muslims, just the time bombs.
For now, Schumer's principal concern is the military imams - tending to the more than 4,000 Muslims in U.S. uniform, as well as to the Gitmo detainees. The Yee case is profoundly disturbing. "The fact that a chaplain who was detained for supposedly stealing classified documents was trained by a group under investigation for terrorism," says Schumer, "should set off alarms at the highest levels."

This is not about discrimination this is about national defense.
Various Muslim organizations such as the American Muslim Council have also ingrained themselves in our society and have actively been lobbying Congress to prevent anti-terrorist legislation claiming "civil liberty" violations. Some of these people who claim to be "victims" were allegedly involved in terrorist activities. In fact one of the past Executive Director's on the Board of AMC was on the FBI Most Wanted list twice and is now in prison in Georgia for murdering a County Deputy. . If you are a human rights activist, I am glad and grateful of your guardian calling but please be wise who you select to support. The wolf may be wearing sheep's clothing. You may very well be supporting people who randomly murdered 3000 innocent civilians and intend to murder many more. That is the ultimate human rights violation. If you want protection in this country in the name of national defense certain "civil liberties" need to change to prevent a future 9/11.
The al-Qaida has found new sources of finances since over $200 million of terrorist funding has been frozen. Credit card fraud is their racket now.
The al-Qaida claimed responsibility for the great black out last month. They claimed they targeted the business district and the UN Headquarters' but would not elaborate on how so they could repeat an attack. Another al-Qaida claim? Coincidently about three weeks later the British business district also experienced a power grid outage and the UN Headquarters was blown up in Iraq shortly after. The month prior Russia experienced a blackout believed to be caused by sabotage. In Iraq the power was also been sabotaged. Is this coincidental or are these attacks on both the physical utilities and the scada (System Control and Data Acquisition) boxes (please click on this PBS link, it has invaluable information) that control the power grids?
"In the summer of 2001, the coordinator for the city of Mountain View, Calif.'s Web site noticed a suspicious pattern of intrusions. The FBI investigated and found similar "multiple casings of sites" in other cities throughout the U.S. The probes were seemingly emanating from the Middle East and South Asia, and the visitors were looking up information about the cities' utilities, government offices, and emergency systems. This information took on a new significance when U.S. intelligence officials examined computers seized from Al Qaeda operatives after the Sept. 11 attacks and discovered what appeared to be a broad pattern of surveillance of U.S. infrastructure."

I am not suggesting the blackout was caused by terrorists, although they do appear coincidental, but believe it would be entirely naïve to not evaluate that possibility given all the information we have to date.
There is some very compelling evidence that terrorism is not a political trump card but a real and dangerous threat. All sectors of the community that tend to push harder for social issue's such as human rights, environmental issue's, immigration etc need to also adapt to this new world order. I am not suggesting giving up your causes but making national defense one part of the equation when lobbying your ideas and agenda. Without considering national defense and global stability we are endangering innocent lives around the world. Please don't let ignorance of global affairs cost more lives. It is very unfortunate it is so difficult to tell a good law abiding Islamic citizen from a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer but a few minor adjustments to our policies could potentially save thousands of lives. Don't wait until the next strike before you realize the extent of the global network.
